Re-designing a movie poster entirely in Photoshop.
- You must use some of the new techniques you are learning in Photoshop this year when designing your Movie Poster. i.e. Layer Styles, Colour Adjustments, Filters, Grids, Content Aware, Masking and Blending layers, Layer Masks , Selecting via Channels, ‘Blend If’ techniques and ‘Vanishing Point’, Displacement Maps.
- Research images/fonts/promotional material on the web relevant to that movie. You may also take photographs or use digital stock photography if necessary for your idea.
- You must typeset the title of the movie, a suitable slogan, the actors, the directors, producers, and a release date and ALL general information for the movie that you see on all movie posters.
- Set the dimension of the Poster to A2 in Photoshop. Set the resolution of your file to 150 dpi. Save your file as a PSD.
